Pet killer arrested for breaching probation

pet killer

Pet killer Kayla Bourque, who a judge has described as “psychopathic” and a “sexual sadist,” was arrested Thursday for allegedly breaching conditions of her release from jail.

In 2013, B.C. Corrections issued a rare public notification to alert the public that Bourque had been released from jail with plans to live in Vancouver.

Bourque has offended violently against both people and animals and is considered high risk to re-offend, according to the Ministry of Justice.

She was arrested in March 2012 after she boasted of disemboweling and dismembering her cat and told a friend she fantasized about shooting a homeless person or killing someone in residence at Simon Fraser University.

Reading this story about Bourque reminds me of two other dog killers, Brian Whitlock and Liz Summerfield.

Brian Whitlock was sent to jail for beating his dog and leaving him for dead in a dumpster in 2012. A couple of years later Whitlock was charged with murder of woman at her Dunbar home

The other dog killer, Liz Summerfield, escaped charges. She simply lied to the South Burnaby Veterinary Hospital when she told them the dog with her had been ordered by the Post Office to be put down because the dog had bitten a postal worker. The Post Office never ordered the dog put down.
<>
Liz Summerfield had the family dog put to death during a series of court orders demanding she turn over to the divorce court bank records as to what she had done with the very large amount of money she’d removed from their joint accounts just prior to her filing for divorce. She refused to comply with any of the multiple court orders.
<>
Liz had removed the dog from the family home prior to her husband being served divorce papers. She refused to allow him to see his dog or any of the other two dogs she removed. The dog she killed was a Rottweiler/German Shepard cross her husband had rescued from the New Westminster Animal Shelter.
Special place in hell for those who harm children and animals
Liz instructs children throughout the lower mainland of British Columbia including Burnaby, Coquitlam, New Westminster, Maple Ridge, Port Moody, Whistler, Vancouver, in a variety of different art like puppetry, papier mache, heritage hat making, or other art forms. She may also be offering public speaking courses throughout the lower mainland.

Dog killer teaching children at Place des Arts Hallowe’en event.

Monster Masks

Get ready for Hallowe’en! Design, paint and embellish your own mask, and have it ready to wear for the night of ghouls. Make your mask scary, funny or glamorous, it’s up to you! Instructor: Liz Summerfield.  Place des Arts, 1120 Brunette Avenue, Coquitlam.

My ex-wife, who lied to a vet in order to have my dog killed during our divorce, has again been hired by Place des Arts to teach children. I think it is horrible that a woman who heartlessly and needlessly killed an innocent animal is hired to teach children.

Liz had told the South Burnaby veterinary clinic that Punzhu had bitten a postman and she’d been ordered to have Punzhu put down. This turned out to be a lie.

I checked with the post office and found out that Punzhu was with Liz outside her mother’s house when the postman approached. According to the postman and the post office, the postman did not file a complaint nor did the post office order Liz to destroy Punzhu.

Liz had repeatedly refused to provide the divorce court with financial records indicating what she had done with all the money she had removed from our bank account, and it was during these repeated refusals of court orders that she had my dog killed.

Liz may be welcomed by various community centers, festivals and art camps to teach children, and parents may well want her to teach their children, moreover, even readers of this post may see nothing wrong with a woman who lies and kills an innocent animal teaching their children. I just feel that, as a public service to parents, they have the right to know something about the people who are teaching their children and I suggest parents Google the names of those teaching or instructing their children as a precaution.

I don’t believe that a person who kills an innocent animal and refuses to comply with court orders should be teaching children. But that is just my opinion.

Arts Council of New Westminster supports dog killer

One of the members of the 2010 – 2011 Programme Committee of the Arts Council of New Westminster is dog killer Liz Summerfield. Yes, my ex-wife killed my dog and lied to a vet in order to have my dog killed.

We lived in the home I purchased in Queens Park area of New Westminster, until Liz filed for divorce and our Queens Park home had to be sold. A day or so before her application for divorce was delivered to me, Liz removed almost all the funds – a substantial amount – from our joint account.

Numerous court orders were issued to Liz to provide bank statements explaining the missing funds, but she never honored the court orders. Instead, during the time she failed to honor 4, 5 or 6 court orders, she took my dog to the South Burnaby Veterinary Hospital and had my dog killed.

My son told me Liz had killed my dog. Fearing what she might do next, or might do to my son, I directed my lawyer to finalize the divorce and to stop looking for all the money Liz had removed from our joint account prior to filing for divorce.

This letter was prepared by my lawyer and explains why Liz is a dog killer known to the BCSPCA and other animal rights organizations.

My ebook Final Decree is based in part upon my divorce.

New face

Today I’ve put a new face on my blog by adding a new header and using a new theme. I’ve also added images of my ebooks on the right side of the page, which will link to free samples of my ebooks, including my children’s coloring ebooks which contain both color and black and white pictures,  when a visitor clicks on an image of an ebook.

The blog is flexible and ‘should’ display better on mobile devices.

Dead Dog Divorce

The death of all those dogs at Whistler brought back so many painful memories of when Liz Summerfield, my now ex-wife, lied to the South Burnaby Veterinary Clinic and had them kill my dog Punzhu.

Killing an animal to speed up a divorce, or for any reason, is never justified.

I suppose reliving all my anguish over the cruel death of my young dog brought forth the thought of changing the cover of my ebook Final Decree.

Friends of mine who have read my fictional ebook, “Final Decree”, had previously suggested I should have included something about the death of my dog in the title.

I had discussed with my editor a title of “Dead Dog Divorce”, but she felt that was not an attractive title to her and so Final Decree was chosen and the ebook published.

Final Decree, a dead dog divorce, is a fictional account about the divorce between my former wife, Liz Summerfield, and myself. It is based in parts upon real events of our divorce, including her lying to the South Burnaby Veterinary Clinic and having them kill my dog Punzhu.

I’ve decided to change the cover and include the words “A Dead Dog Divorce”, which you may view here. Link opens in a new window or tab.

Katjie supports Liz Summerfield killing animals

Earlier this year I established a memorial on PETA for Punzhu, my adopted pet who was killed by my wife during our divorce. I visited the PETA site today and found the following message had been posted.

Katjie
Thu, Aug 26, 2010
After reading the story about “Punzhu”, whom had bitten a mailperson “fifteen” years ago, I was shocked to hear you have “just” decided to donate $25.
It’s not very difficult as to why the post office/person never had to filed a complaint of the incident. “Liz Summerfield” had taken “full” responsibility for her pet actions, this is called a responsible pet owner!
Can you image how Liz, felt when she had taken her wonderful special pet/friend to be put down? Will let me tell you that it’s not an easy thing to do for any reasons! I’ve put down a few pets, (old age) and to let them go walk over the rainbow bridge is the friggin hardest thing in life is to let my best friends go.
BTW, thanks for telling me her first and surnames. My hats off to you “Liz Summerfield” for stepping up and being a responsible pet owner! I hope others will do the same!!!!
Sincerely
Barkfish katjie

***

Barkfish katjie seems to share the same mental health issues as “Francis“; they both support killing innocent animals. Katjie also has some misunderstandings:

One, Punzhu was my dog, not Liz’s. I adopted him from the pound, looked after him, took him for walks and to the vet, paid all the bills, etc. etc.

Liz took him from the house the day she filed for divorce, wouldn’t let me see him or tell me where he was. Punzhu was not her “wonderful special pet/friend” as you put it.

I believe Liz viewed my dog as simply a pawn in our divorce. If anyone wants to read about some of the things that happened during my divorce you can read my fiction novel, based in parts upon my divorce, “Final Decree” here.

Two, I haven’t “just” decided to support animal groups fifteen years after my ex-wife killed my dog, for I have donated to the BCSPCA for many years before and after my ex killed Punzhu. I noticed you, katjie, didn’t contribute any money to my memorial to support PETA.

Three, Liz lied to the vets at South Burnaby Veterinary Hospital when she said the post office had ordered her to have my dog put down because Punzhu had bitten a postman.

Liz lied, katjie, and I don’t know how you or anyone can possibly support killing an animal based upon a lie. The post office never ordered Liz or anyone to have my dog Punzhu put down. Liz simply lied.

Four, katjie speaks of how Liz may have felt taking my dog to the vet and having Punzhu killed. Can you imagine how hard it would be for a son to tell his father that his father’s dog had been killed by his wife?

Can you imagine how hard is was for me to hear my son tell me that horror story? I’ve taken pets to vets to be put down because of old age and I know how that feels, believe me I know, and it doesn’t compare to the feelings I had as I heard my son tell me his mom killed my dog.

Taking a pet to be put down doesn’t come close to the pain of losing a pet through a purposeful act of your wife lying to vet in order to kill an innocent animal, possibly because the divorce was not going well in her favor at the time Punzhu was killed.

The pain of hearing my son struggle to tell me that my wife killed my dog exceeded any pain I have ever felt when I had to put one of my pets down because of old age.

If you want to read more about my divorce and the death of my dog Punzhu, read my fictional novel “Final Decree” which is based in part upon my divorce, and you may agree with the reviewer who wrote “A truly enlightening story of what “can” happen when the thief is your spouse…”

A truly enlightening story. Review.

The first review of my fiction novel “Final Decree” was posted on Smashwords today and the reviewer had this to say; “A truly enlightening story”. Thanks for the review, and I’m glad you enjoyed my first ebook. You can read the whole review here.

Final Decree. A Dead Dog Divorce.

Final Decree. A Dead Dog Divorce.

“Francis” supports Liz Summerfield killing innocent animal.

Today I received a comment from someone named “Francis” supporting Liz Summerfield lying and killing an innocent animal. How anyone can support a person killing an innocent animal is beyond me.

Perhaps “Francis” needs mental health help. Read comment by “Francis” – with my reply to her in it – and see if you agree “Francis” needs mental health help.

Animal rights organizations like PETA, BCSPCA, and other animal support organizations need your help to stop cruelty to animals and to assist animals in need. Please support these animal rights organizations and/or your local organization. Thanks, Ted.

Sympathy card from PETA

Today I received a handwritten sympathy card from PETA, for my donation to the Punzhu fund supporting awareness of cruelty to animals.  I created the Punzhu memorial fund in honour of my dog Punzhu, who was needlessly killed by my now ex-wife Liz Summerfield during our divorce when she took Punzhu to the South Burnaby Veterinary Hospital and had him put down.

Please support your local, national, or international animal rights organization and help prevent cruelty to animals.

My new novel “Final Decree”, and “4-letter words” sample

It took some time, a couple hours really, to upload my new ebook “Final Decree” to Smashwords when it was only #14 in the queue. I checked the output after going through their meatgrinder process and found a couple of errors, one of which was my own stupidity in that the pictures for “I came…” card in the Appendix didn’t copy properly when I moved the MSWord file to the OpenOffice document format for uploading to Smashwords.

I had uploaded my new novel, my first novel on Smashwords, originally in the MSWord format, but had horrendous problems with the linking within the PDF document after the conversion process by Smashwords. I’d had this problem before using MSWord (When will I learn not to use MSWord???) on my 4-letter words puzzle ebook on Smashwords, which you may read about on my blog post here.

I made the image corrections to my novel and uploaded it again to Smashwords. Now I am waiting for the book to be processed by their meatgrinder into various ebook formats.

My book the “Final Decree” is about a divorce and the problems a woman, Elspith Winters, has during her Examination for Discovery. Elspith is driven by inner forces to divorce her husband, who is baffled by her determination. Her passion leads from love to an odyssey of despair, ruin, and alienation as she emotionally crumbles during her Examination for Discovery.

If you enjoy stories with a touch of realism to them, a bit of humour, stories that are a cautionary tale, then you may enjoy reading my new novel. It is a work of fiction and and any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental even though Final Decree is based upon actual events.

Free samples of both Final Decree and 4-letter words are available at all major online retailers including Barnes & Noble, Apple, Amazon, Smashwords, Kobo/Chapters Indigo, Sony, select libraries, Flipkart in India, and other fine retailers.
